Mill Operator Shift

Position: CNC MILL OPERATOR - 1st & 2nd shift
Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for experienced Mill CNC Operators who wish to develop his or her career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship. ** 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri OT may be required as needed

Essential



Duties

and Tasks:

Operate regular (horizontal) machining center or VTL (vertical) mill in 3, 4, or 5 axis machines

Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications

Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.

Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications

Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances

Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes

Maintain working knowledge of rotary/linear axes

Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, tooling, and work pieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.

Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned

Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE

Operate overhead crane when necessary

Report proper labor hours in the ERP system

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties



Demonstrates the ability to lift 35 pounds occasionally

Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organizations values

Conditions:



Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds

Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift

Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and material.

Perform under AS9100 standards

Education and Experience:



High school diploma or GED required

CNC Mill experience required - Min 1 yr.

Ability to perform basic math functions

Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident
