What we are Looking for
We are seeking a full-time hands-on Editor/Motion Graphics Designer primarily for the US Market. The ideal candidate is a versatile top-tier Editor/Motion Designer with ample experience working with elite brands and/or agencies. You should have a strong design background, a knack for process and problem-solving, and experience creating long form (2-3 minute) content for internal use as well as shorter content (6-30s) for social/digital platforms including Linkedin and Facebook.
What You’ll do
Act is the in-house video editorial and production arm of the Marketing Department. As such, you’ll be simultaneously editing multiple projects while building our in-house video capability.
Projects range from longer 3–4-minute educational videos, to mid-length ( 2-3 minute) case study videos, to short-form (6-30s) advertising and promotional videos.
Bring creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborate with team members throughout the creative process from concept to production.
Serve as our liaison for outside video creation resources (freelancers & vendors) in the event of overflow projects
Conceptualize visual design solutions that maintain the consistency of the Braze brand across channels.
Be enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn new skills
Collaborate to help elevate the quality and production level of the work coming out of the creative team.
Contribute to the development of the creative team's culture and quality standards
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience working with top-tier brands and or agencies.
Extensive experience creating motion graphics, video ads, social media content and longer form video
Should be a master at After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop with proficiency in Cinema 4D. Experience with Maya is a plus.
Experience setting up systems for reviewing and archiving videos and footage
Experience setting up inhouse studio from lights, cameras and capture.
Strong skills in design and typography.
Must be knowledgeable in motion trends and the latest plugins/scripts.
An eagerness to collaborate across disciplines with team members at all levels
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $115,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $100,000 and $127,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
